The Future of Education 2020 Initiative Film Series

This series is being shown in conjunction with the Future of Education lecture series, and presented in collaboration with the Yellow Springs schools and the Morgan Fellows of Antioch college.

PRE-FILM VIDEO AT EACH SHOWING
Each movie will be preceded by a short animation, adapted from a talk given at the RSA (the British Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) by Sir Ken Robinson, world-renowned education and creativity expert. The video sketches the historic rise and limitations of our current public K–12 educational delivery system.

POST-FILM DISCUSSIONS
The Yellow Springs Community Youth Facilitators will lead a discussion following each screening. The Human Relations Commission, Yellow Springs Schools, and Dana Patterson of the WSU Bolinga Center have led trainings for local youth who are now using these skills to engage their community in thoughtful conversations about the future of the Yellow Springs Schools.
