Inside Yellow Springs
The next map shows the major streets that lead to the Little Art Theatre from Dayton (I-675), Xenia, and Springfield.
Included on this map are two peripheral parking lots, noted on the map with magenta-colored rectangles. The lot on South Walnut Street is about a three minute walk to the theatre. This parking lot, behind the King's Yard shopping area, is immediately adjacent to another, similar lot behind Tom's Market. Do NOT use the Tom's Market lot!
The other peripheral parking lot on this map is across Corry Street from The Winds Cafe. It is in front of two railroad cabooses and next to the Miami Township Fire Station. This lot is about a four minute walk from the theatre.
Parking Immediately Behind the Theatre
There is street parking around the theatre and in a small well-lit parking lot behind the theatre in Kieth's Alley. A small walkway connects the rear parking lot with Xenia Avenue. The magenta areas on the street parking map mark the locations of parking spots, most of which are parallel parking spots. Note: Do NOT park in the specially marked 15-minute ATM spots across Xenia Avenue from the theatre.
A Word to the Wise
The police department in Yellow Springs takes the town's speed limits seriously, and so should you. If the posted speed limit is 25 MPH, driving more than 30 MPH places you at a certain level of risk for a warning or citation. Don't speed and don't make U-Turns either as one of our patrons quickly discovered one midnight when no traffic was in site!
