The Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs is one of the country's oldest cinematic treasures. Showcasing the best in contemporary and classic cinema for more than 80 years, the theatre's challenges are the greatest they have ever been. History of the Program

Jenny Cowperthwaite started working at the Little Art Theatre when she was just 15, and purchased the business in 1998. In 2001, facing an industry-wide decline in movie attendance, Jenny began Friends of the Little Art, an annual membership campaign. In 2009 she made another big decision — to transition the Little Art to a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity.

In her role as Executive Director, Jenny continues to pilot the theatre as she has for more than 30 years. By giving a tax-deductible donation, you can be part of the next chapter of the Little Art's long and unique history as one of the nation's oldest cinematic treasures.
