Beethoven's Big Break

Beethoven's Big Break

Part of Saturday's Picture Show

Synopsis for Beethoven's Big Break: The Little Art Theatre will again present "Saturday's Picture Show," a film series for children ages 3-12. The double bill will feature "Beethoven's Big Break" (100 min., recommended for ages 5-12), a comedy starring a lovable St. Bernard who gets his big break in Hollywood and stirs up trouble on the sets while winning over a few hearts. Children who bring a stuffed animal (a dog, cat, bear or even a dragon) with them to watch the movie will receive a "Best in Show" blue ribbon.

A short film by Susan Gartner documenting the Saturday's Picture Show February 28 Grand Opening Event will make its Little Art premiere before the feature. The 8-minute video stars the young people of Yellow Springs and captures the fun and excitement of young local moviegoers walking the red carpet.

The date of the show is Saturday, March 14; the box office will open at 1 p.m. and the movies start at 1:30 p.m. There is no charge for admission but a $4 donation is suggested.
