Synopsis

Live music at the Little Art Theatre! This special Songwriters Round: Dayton Deconstructed, brings together artists you’ve seen lighting up local stages and late-night sets — now stripped down, and personal. In this unique setting, they’ll take turns sharing songs and offering a rare glimpse into the heart and craft of their music. Expect the special kind of connection between artist and audience that only happens when the lights are low and the focus is on the music. Caleab Wyant is a singer-songwriter from Yellow Springs, Ohio. He is also 1/2 of Extraordinary Twins and YIKES A BAND. Wyant draws inspiration from electronic music, synth pop, and film. TINO is a Ohio hip hop artist known for his ability to blend the genre’s golden era/old school sound with modern/alternative elements to craft a nostalgic yet innovative sound. An engaging performer who draws from his catalog of seven independent studio albums to produce a one of a kind stage show. Paige Beller is a multi-instrumentalist who uses lots of sounds to make you sad. Delivering songs that are emotionally vulnerable and simultaneously epic. Beller radiates boundless creativity and power, while still maintaining their inherently friendly, humble nature. James Lampe is a songwriter from Dayton, Ohio, best known as the guitarist for prog-punk band Abertooth Lincoln and the primary songwriter for his indie rock project, Bertram. His acoustic work draws on folk, rock, country, and jazz influences, with a focus on simple, clear storytelling inspired by writers like John K. Samson, Andy Shauf, and John Prine. Doors 6:30pm. Music at 7pm. Tickets $20.
